Oscar has been a licensed massage therapist for over 11 years. With over 20+ years in the health and wellness industry, Oscar prides himself on his passion to learn and grow his skillset.
Oscar believes in an integrated approach to massage. During a massage session, traditional Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Touch, stretching, Reiki, and breathwork may be used.
Oscar believes in co-creating a deeply healing experience with his clients. Before a session begins, he will discuss with the client what they would like, their needs, and what approach would be most beneficial.
Types of Services & Techniques
May include smooth gliding strokes, kneading strokes, friction, and tapotement (percussion).
Release of the muscle connective tissue. It is working with the fascial system that surrounds the entire body to "re-wire", "unwind", and "open up" habitual patterns or postural patterns that the body may have.
This can help a lot with body patterns that cause pain, stiffness, tension, fatigue, lack of range of motion, and weakness.
Deep Touch Massage
Different than the more popularized "deep tissue" massage, the depth and pressure can be adjusted to the preference of each person.
It can have an "opening" effect or as if "space" is being made on the inside of the body.
Pressure Point and Trigger Point Therapy
These techniques can help the body, the muscles, and the body energy flow more freely and allow muscles to soften.
A massage specifically designed for pregnant mothers to help relax and aid the body during the different stages of pregnancy.
Reiki is a balancing modality that helps the body fall back into its natural state of alignment. Once the body is in balance, then it is easier for the body to do what the body naturally does, which is relax, heal, and thrive.
Reiki involves placing the hands with little to no pressure on different parts of the body. (It can also be done without touch)
Reiki is a modality that can be found in hospitals, cancer centers, hospice care, anxiety and PTSD treatment centers, yoga classes and in many massage therapy sessions.
Working with the bodies own innate ability to heal itself, Pranic Healing is a scientifically proven technique to help the body heal itself.
Stress energies can accumulate in the bodies physical, mental, and emotional areas. This can cause the body to become depleted or congested, which can cause imbalances that lead to stress and disease.
With Pranic Healing, we cleanse and energize the energy body and energy centers of the affected areas of the body. This balances and harmonizes the systems of the body so they can function harmoniously and be vibrant.
A guided session in conscious, connected, circular breathing which can have many positive benefits related to stress, trauma, overall health, and healing. The person will be on the table fully clothed and together will be coached through the breathing session to help open the breath.
